FAQ
How often can I expect an email?
There are 5-6 drops a year, one every 2 months. That means I contact you only 5-6x a year. (Lucky you AND lucky me!) The only thing you will receive is a link to the site announcing the sale and giving you a password.
When are the drops?
You can expect drops around: February, May, June, August, October & December. They will always occur at 12pm EST, 11am CST, 10am MST, 9am PST. Unless noted otherwise.
When do the emails go out?
Each email has a password to unlock the site during a sale, they are sent out an hour minimum before the site opens! I have started sending out an additional preview email 24 hours before so that people do not have to rely on Instagram to get a headsup about sales :)
Why are you pushing an email?
The goal is independence from the gram. I appreciate you following along however you like best, but my salary depends on people being notified that the shop is open. Depending on Instagram means I cannot control when people see a post. This way everyone gets it at the same time and has time to breathe and plan before the site goes live.
How do I know when a drop is about to happen?
All the drops will be announced via Instagram, but anyone with the password will be able to shop. Meaning you don’t need to be on the app to shop, you can just find out via email.
Why is the site sold out?
Because this work is handmade! And slow! I work a lot, but it still takes about 8 weeks to produce 200 pieces. We have 3 very part-time assistants helping keep things rolling while I manage the business and the work. Sometimes you will see longer gaps if we work on cool custom jobs or if I take teaching gigs! Bear with me!
